We’re Mark and Sean. We’re working with five small businesses in Singapore, for free, to fix one real problem each.
Why we’re doing this
Small businesses get pitched a lot of AI courses. You pay the fee, give up a day of staff time, practise on demo data, but nothing changes afterwards.
Yes, you do not need another chat bot. It will not help. You do not need to know how to make images, it will help slightly. And yes, you do not need to pay thousands of dollars and use thousands more of your hard earned tax payer money for someone to tell you how to click and use ChatGPT.
We think that money and that day can be spent better. Rather than argue about it, we’d like to try: sit with real teams, on real work, and see what actually sticks.
What we’re doing
We work with you and the person who actually does the work, and pick one recurring problem worth fixing. Then we help put a change in place. That might be AI, automation, software you already have, or simply a better process. The problem will decide the tool, whether it’s AI or not.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
It’s pro bono. There’s no obligation to buy anything, now or later, and your data stays yours.
It works best if:
- You run a Singapore small business with one specific, recurring problem.
- You can make decisions for the business.
- The person who does the work can spare a few hours to explain and test.
About us
Between us we are experienced in applied AI, software engineering and scaling startups, mostly as operators rather than advisers.
Think of this as our national service for small business, and a small argument that there are better ways to spend on AI than *gag* courses.
FAQ
Are we a scam?
Fair question. No. We’ll never ask you to pay us, and never for bank details or passwords. You get our working agreement in writing before we start, and either side can end it at any time.
Why free?
It’s an experiment. We want to learn what actually sticks for small businesses, and doing it for free is the most honest way to find out.
Will I pay for anything?
Our time is free. If a solution needs software, hosting or another paid service, we’ll tell you the cost and get your approval before anything is spent.
Who owns the work and our data?
Your data stays yours. Who owns anything we build is agreed in writing before we build it, and nothing is left running on our personal accounts.
